The SKAG circulating screw conveyor is a device that enables emptying flat-bottomed silos from all materials that flow naturally, such as: wheat, rapeseed, rice, soybean, sunflower, biomass and Pellet. After filling the silo and covering the SKAG conveyor with material, you can start pouring (emptying) the silo. The scroll element covered with pipes in the SKAG screw rotates the material (grain) towards the central hole of the silo where there are other devices in the technological line responsible for the proper operation of the system such as bolt i scraper conveyor

The conveyor is mounted directly above the centrally located inlet in the silo to the device under the floor and transports the grain along the silo radius with simultaneous movement around the axis of the silo in a clockwise direction (viewed from above on the floor). Circular movement of the conveyor ends when the silo is empty of residual grain. Circular movement is forced by a rubber wheel drive. Usually it is one full circulation around the silo axis. Our device is designed for silos with a diameter of 6-27m and powered by gearmotors from 4kW to 11kW.

The modular design of the conveyor allows easy adjustment to the desired length depending on the size of the silo.

Operation of the SKAG conveyor can be done by switching on manual or automatic control adapted to the existing system of the customer

We ensure stable connection of shields by using an intermediate module, the so-called shield connector The module provides three important things:

• 2. Joins the shields together.
• 3. Connects worm shafts

Circular movement is carried out using a worm drive. Circumferential speed was reduced by using a set of reducers to approx. 1 rpm (depending on the motor used to drive the worm). For circular motion, a heavy duty wheel with a full super flexible rubber tire was used.
